Why would people forget what Aaron Swartz was trying to accomplish, free knowledge for the masses not for ring fenced paywalled monopoly. How did Jstor become controller of academic research papers how were they appointed and who benefits. Blacklist Jstor don't read their articles make a stand this shit has got to stop. Aaron Swartz In Memory of: A man with a moral compass who wanted knowledge to be free.

In my opinion cracked when being thrown under the bus by those who he thought he could trust.

It's all about control and rent seeking like how youtube operates. The content is not owned by them just terms and agreements to  lock in users to a platform that operates like a toll bridge. Web3 can change all this with read write and own through tokenomics everyone could receive royalty's payments from participating in a open platform to benefit everyone. More billionaires are not required as buying and owning more for monopoly control just stifles competion and stagnates creative minds from owning small businesses that make enough to live well with a decent income. This shit has got to stop.
