When banks control the keys to your cryptocurrency who owns it?

Maybe the banks can see the writing on the wall, and think the same old status quo will carry on, with them in charge with custodial services. Although they might be surprised when a DAO launches a platform to operate custodial cryptocurrency vaults.

Central bank digital currency based on their track record so far you would think people will see through this ploy. I see a struggle with this idea, most likely it will be enforced and laws put in place to take away your choice.
