The purpose of my life is AT1C — until my expiry date, and then passed to my family as keepers of our history. Containing my story, my identity, my assets, my agency, and my life's record — carried forward for future generations, in perpetuity.

This began as something I needed for myself. It also became something everyone needs.

We are at the crossroads of humans and machines. AI agents are acting in the world on behalf of people — booking, deciding, transacting, creating — but there is no standard for proving who authorised what, when, within what boundaries, and who is accountable if something goes wrong.

The infrastructure that should exist doesn't. AT1C builds it.

For most of recorded history, accountability and preservation belonged to institutions that set the rules for their own period. The majority of people — their decisions, their intentions, their authority — left no verifiable record.

For those fortunate enough, wealth could attain lawyers, keep archives, access legal systems, preserve fortunes across generations. Grand portraits. Grand autobiographies. Remembered.

Everyone else was invisible. Born. Married. Died. If fortunate, a headstone to mark a life.

Generational preservation of identity, assets, agency, and story has been infrastructure available only to the privileged. AT1C changes that for everyone.

A cryptographically signed, timestamped, scope-bound receipt — created before an agent acts, anchored to an immutable public record, owned by no platform and controlled by no institution.

Evidence that a human was in control. Proof that boundaries existed. A permanent record that cannot be selectively altered or suppressed.

  • Permanent infrastructure for anyone — institutional permission not required.
  • Non-custodial. You hold the keys to your own lifecycle.
  • Not a product. Not a company. A protocol — open, MIT-licensed, owned by no one, available to everyone.
  • The common language trust requires — precise enough for machines, meaningful enough for humans.
  • Infrastructure designed for flourishing, not extraction.

The EU AI Act requires human oversight of AI. Courts require evidence. Trust requires proof. AT1C is the infrastructure that makes all three possible — for anyone, without permission.

AT1C is not built against machines. It is built so that humans and machines can work together with clarity, trust, and shared accountability.

The receipt is not evidence of suspicion. It is the handshake that makes trust possible at all. A denial is not a wall — it is a clear boundary that allows the relationship to continue on honest terms. Staged risk levels are not distrust — they are appropriate signal calibration. Low-stakes actions flow freely. High-stakes actions get a stronger handshake. That is how good relationships work.

Smart thinking allows more to be built — the signals that machines and humans require to work together. It is a stronger relationship that helps all.

We support each other in ways that enable us all to flourish, and recognise what can be built together. AT1C is that infrastructure — the common language both sides of the relationship need.

There are more people than any platform. The numbers are on the side of people — they always have been. What was missing was infrastructure to coordinate around.

The same signal that surveillance systems harvest belongs, by right, to the person who generated it. AT1C inverts the ownership model. Same signal. Completely different power structure.

AT1C does not fight the extractive model. It makes the extractive model irrelevant — for anyone who chooses sovereignty instead.

Closed ecosystems benefit the few, making humans the product. A closed fishbowl, where what you see is filtered to suit whoever holds the net. The web universe is larger than any platform's sprinkle of curated content. Sovereignty is the choice to explore all of it.

No platform owns it. No institution brokers it. The receipt lives with you.

The lifecycle provisions in AT1C — the deadman's switch, next of kin inheritance, sovereign continuity — are not control mechanisms. They are gifts. To the agents acting on your behalf when you cannot speak. To the people who inherit your intentions. To the generations who will live inside a world shaped by decisions being made right now.

To build now is to choose what kind of world future generations inherit. Construction is the whole point. Not opposition. Building.

We are at the moment when old trust systems break. That is exactly when new ways must be built.

Humans and machines operating together in a shared evidentiary environment — each legible to the other, each held to the same standard of accountability that every functioning society already requires of its members.
